Redmond has made history with two of the most well renowned global technology companies being headquartered here in Microsoft and Nintendo. It's a Mecca for international talent with a thriving job market provided in part by these world-leading corporations. Aptly named, Redmond is "Bicycle Capital of the Northwest" with the 27-mile Burke-Gilman Trail, which runs through the center of town, as well as the ever-popular Marymoor Park. It also connects over a dozen neighborhoods from Ballard Locks to Snoqualmie Falls. Just minutes from downtown Seattle and Bellevue, Redmond is nestled between the big city and some of the Northwest's most beautiful natural landscapes.

Redmond is home to numerous NW microbreweries and wineries and hosts some of the largest concerts and entertainment shows, some of which include Cavalia, Cirque Du Soleil, B52s and Train. The heart of Redmond is a shopper's paradise with an outdoor mall, fittingly named Redmond Town Center, which consists of World Market, Macy's, REI, Ann Taylor, AT&T, Eddie Bauer, GAP, Pinkabella Cupcakes, Starbucks, as well as many other major retailers, including The Mac Store. Redmond is also part of the top-ranked Lake Washington School District and offers a safe and healthy environment with a low crime rate as well as their very own Swedish Medical Center.
